(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Pangasinan. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lighting and strong winds are being experienced over Sual, Labrador, Mabini and Alaminos City. Naic, Cavite mayor tests positive for COVID-19

(Eagle News)–The mayor of Naic, Cavite has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019. Cavite province confirms 4 new COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News)–Cavite province has recorded four new coronavirus disease 2019 cases, bringing the total to 14. In a Facebook post, Gov. Jonvic Remulla said the new cases were a 62-year-old male and a 71-year-old male from Naic, a 30-year-old female from Tanza and a 67-year-old female from Indang. Biñan, Laguna confirms first COVID-19 case

(Eagle News) — Biñan, Laguna has confirmed its first case of the coronavirus disease 2019. In a Facebook post, the city’s public information office said the first case was a 58-year-old female from Barangay San Francisco who had no travel history. 3.5-magnitude quake hits Sultan Kudarat; no damage to property

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Sultan Kudarat today. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:48 a.m., had its epicenter 13 kilometers southeast of Columbio. It had a depth of focus of 24 kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were recorded: Instrumental Intensities: Intensity II – Kidapawan City Intensity I – Koronadal City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.9-magnitude quake hits Negros Occidental; no damage to property recorded

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Negros Occidental today. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 10:52 a.m., had its epicenter 10 kilometers northwest of Cauayan. It had a depth of focus of 22 kilometers. The following instrumental Intensities were recorded: Intensity II – Bago City, Negros Occidental Intensity I – La Carlota City, Negors Occidental No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

Santa Rosa, Laguna confirms second COVID-19 case

(Eagle News)–Santa Rosa, Laguna  has confirmed its second coronavirus disease 2019 case. In a Facebook post, the Santa Rosa City government said that  the second case was a resident of a subdivision in Barangay Macabling. “Contact tracing is now being undertaken by the city government and health officials,” the Santa Rosa government said. It said home quarantine shall be strictly implemented.

Taytay, Rizal confirms 2 COVID-19 cases, including one death

(Eagle News)–The municipality of Taytay in Rizal has confirmed two coronavirus disease 2019 cases, including one death. In a Facebook post, the municipal government said the fatality was a woman from Barangay San Juan whose remains have been cremated in the St. Peter Crematory.
