(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of Metro Manila and other areas. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Paranaque, Taguig, Pasay, Muntinlupa and Las Piñas are having moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds. Easterlies affecting Visayas, Mindanao

(Eagle News)–The easterlies are affecting Visayas and Mindanao today. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers. The weather bureau said this was due to localized thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds, PAGASA said, will prevail over Palawan and Occidental Mindoro and Visayas. These areas will have slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA: Good weather to persist in M. Manila in succeeding days

(Eagle News)–Metro Manila will have good weather in the next three days, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said. In a 5 p.m. update, weather specialist Loreidin dela Cruz said the National Capital Region will only have thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night. (Eagle News)–Signal No. 1 remains hoisted over Batanes as “Ambo” slightly accelerates while maintaining its strength.
