LPA off Cagayan may develop into tropical depression in next 36 hours, PAGASA says

(Eagle News)–The low pressure area off Cagayan may develop into a tropical depression in the next 36 hours. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s Aldczar Aurelio said so far, the LPA was situated 135 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City. (Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring two low pressure areas in the Philippine Area of Responsibility. In an advisory, PAGASA said one LPA was situated 160 kilometers east of Tuguegarao, Cagayan, and another 135 kilometers west northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan. (Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been raised over Metro Manila and other areas. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are also expected over Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Laguna and Rizal within the next two hours.
