PAGASA: Southwest monsoon affecting PHL today

(Eagle News) –The southwest monsoon is affecting the country today. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said parts of the country will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. Monsoon rains expected in N. Luzon (Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area off Eastern Samar. (Eagle News)–Typhoon “Bavi” continues to enhance the southwest monsoon, even if it remains outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The southwest monsoon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said, affects northern and central Luzon.
