MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights

(Eagle News)–The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights. MIAA said the list was for Tuesday, April 14: Flight schedules may be subject to changes anytime. All flights are now concentrated in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 in a bid to reduce the risk of exposure of airport workers to the coronavirus disease 2019, MIAA said earlier. The Philippines has so far confirmed over 4000 COVID-19 cases.

ECQ in Samar province extended until April 30

This was after the Department of Health announced on Monday, April 13, 284 new cases as of 4 p.m. Eighteen new deaths have been recorded, bringing the total to 315. DOTr expands free rides for health workers program

(Eagle News)–The Department of Transportation has expanded its free rides for health workers program to include other areas. The DOTr said the program, which has so far serviced 154561 health workers, now covers regions 1, 2, 3, 4A, 4B, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, CAR and CARAGA apart from the National Capital Region. Lawyer Harry Roque returns as President Duterte’s spokesperson

Panelo to remain as presidential legal counsel (Eagle News)–Lawyer Harry Roque is returning to Malacañang as President Rodrigo Duterte’s spokesperson. Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo made the confirmation, saying he would still retain his position as presidential legal counsel. Roque stepped  down in October 2018 to run as senator in the recent elections. He, however, withdrew his candidacy later on citing health reasons.
