COVID-19 cases in PHL reach 187,249 with additional 4,933 cases

(Eagle News)–The number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases in the country has reached 187,249 after the Department of Health reported 4933 additional cases. The DOH said of the total COVID-19 cases, 69362 were active, of which 91.5 percent were mild, 6.6 percent asymptomatic, 0.8 percent severe, and 1.1 percent critical. Busuanga in Palawan under 48-hour lockdown

(Eagle News)–Busuanga in Palawan is under a 48-hour lockdown amid the threat of COVID-19. The lockdown, which began on Friday, at 6 p.m., was after a family–the father, mother who works in Busuanga, and an eight-month-old baby–tested positive for COVID-19 based on initial rapid testing. DepEd: Over 23 million enrollees for school year 2020-2021 so far

(Eagle News)–The number of enrollees for school year 2020 to 2021 has reached over 23 million nationwide. The Department of Education said the 23,573,126 enrollees as of Aug. 21 were for kindergarten to Grade 12, and included ALS and non-graded learners with disabilities. DFA: COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos reach 9,975

(Eagle News)–The number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases among overseas Filipinos has reached 9975, with the addition of cases from two countries in the Americas, and Asia and the Pacific, the Department of Foreign Affairs said. COVID-19 cases in PHL breach 182,000 mark with 4,786 additional cases

(Eagle News) — The number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases in the country breached the 182,000 mark on Friday, Aug. 21, after the Department of Health reported 4,786 additional cases. House of Representatives logs one more COVID-19 case, total at 50 so far

(Eagle News)–The House of Representatives reported another  COVID-19 case on Friday, Aug. 21, bringing the total to 50. According to House Secretary-General Jose Luis Montales, the employee last reported for work on Aug. 17 and 18.
