4.3-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Thursday, Sept. 30. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 6:32 a.m. It had its epicenter 496 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. The depth of focus was 175 kilometers. PHIVOLCS said the quake was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

Magnitude 4.2 quake hits waters off Sarangani, Davao Occidental

  (Eagle News) – A magnitude 4.2 quake struck 63 kilometers west of Sarangani, Davao Occidental, just before midnight, at 11:48 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29. Tremor felt in Metro Manila, several areas in Southern Luzon   (Eagle News) – A magnitude 5.7 quake shook Occidental Mindoro at 1:12 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, which was followed by a 4.5 magnitude aftershock at 1:40 a.m., PHIVOLCS said. 4.0-magnitude quake strikes off Ilocos Sur

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Ilocos Sur on Saturday, Sept. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 6:08 a.m. It had its epicenter 34 kilometers southwest of Santa Catalina. The depth of focus was 39 kilometers. The following intensity was reported: Sinait, Ilocos Sur- Intensity III No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News) — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Sulu early Friday, Sept. 24. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:14 a.m. It had its epicenter 336 kilometers southeast of Banguingui. The depth of focus was 598 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Sunday, Sept. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:14 a.m. It had its epicenter 113 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. The depth of focus was five kilometers. The earthquake, PHIVOLCS said, was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 8:58 a.m. It had its epicenter 329 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. The depth of focus was 30 kilometers. According to PHIVOLCS, the quake hit at 6:38 p.m. It had its epicenter 162 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. The depth of focus was nine kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
