(Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area off Samar. PAGASA said the LPA was 185 kilometers west of Catbalogan City or 50 kilometers east of Roxas City, Capiz. The northeast monsoon is also affecting Luzon. (Eagle News)–Reported deaths due to heavy rains and floods in Visayas and Mindanao over the weekend rose to 44, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said. (Eagle News) — Reported deaths due to the heavy rains and floods in Visayas and Mindanao over the weekend have risen to 32, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said.
