AFP names next Wescom chief

AFP members donate over P16 million to help fund gov’t response vs COVID-19

(Eagle News) — The Armed Forces of the Philippines has raised over P16 million from its members’ salaries to help fund the government’s response against COVID-19. Duterte appoints former military chief Madrigal to PCA board

(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed former Armed Forces of the Philippines chief Benjamin Madrigal Jr. as a member of the Philippine Coconut Authority governing board. Madrigal’s appointment paper was signed on Jan. 21. Madrigal’s appointment came less than four months after he retired from the service. He retired in September 2019 after reaching the mandatory age of retirement of 56.
