Gov’t begins bringing back stranded students in M. Manila to provinces
(Eagle News)–The government has begun sending students left stranded in dormitories and apartments in Metro Manila to their provinces. 4.2-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental
(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Friday, May 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 2:55 a.m., had its epicenter 59 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso. It had a depth of 134 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental
(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Thursday, May 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:15 a.m., had its epicenter 328 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
