4.2-magnitude quake jolts Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Tuesday, May 12.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 10:29 p.m., had its epicenter 23 kilometers northeast of San Isidro.

It had a depth of 11 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
