Operations of two DFA consular offices suspended due to “Agaton”

(Eagle News) — The Department of Foreign Affairs  has announced the suspension of operations on Monday, April 11, of two of its offices in the Visayas. According to the DFA, the suspension covers its consular offices in Tacloban and its Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) in Cebu. (Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring another tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. PNP: Over 16,000 police personnel being trained in preparation for May 9 polls

(Eagle News) — Over 16,000 police personnel are undergoing training in preparation for their election duties in May, the Philippine National Police said.
