(Eagle News) — The Bureau of Customs said it seized over P10 billion worth of smuggled goods in 2020. In a statement, the bureau said the P10.629 billion worth of smuggled goods seized was a result of 997 seizures from January 2020 to December 2020. Authorities seize P1.8 million worth of smuggled drugs from Parañaque warehouse

(Eagle News) — Authorities have seized P1.8 million worth of smuggled drugs, the Bureau of Customs said on Thursday, Dec. 4. According to the bureau, the 35,345 tablets of diazepam (Valium) and nitrazepam (Mogadon) were discovered by NAIA Customs personnel during the inspection and examination of parcels in Pair Cargo warehouse in Parañaque. Customs bureau destroys P21 million worth of smuggled cigarettes, machines for counterfeiting cigarettes

(Eagle News)–The Bureau of Customs has condemned over 2,000 packs of smuggled and fake cigarettes recently. In a statement, the bureau said apart from the 2305 packs  seized by personnel at the port of Manila on Oct. 19, condemned were machines used for counterfeiting cigarettes. (Eagle News)–The Bureau of Customs has destroyed P10 million worth of illegally imported cosmetics, expired medicines and other goods. In a statement, the bureau said the 24.6 “hazardous and unsafe goods” intercepted by Ninoy Aquino International Airport personnel were destroyed in separate instances, on Oct. 17 and 19, at  the Integrated Waste Management Inc., in Trece Martires, Cavite.
