Magnitude 5.4 quake rocks Davao Occidental

  (Eagle News) – A magnitude 5.4 quake shook Davao Occidental on Wednesday, September 18, at 3 p.m., with its epicenter located 136 kilometers southeast of Sarangani town. 3.7-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 19 kilometers northeast of Paluan at 6:55 a.m. Depth of focus was 12 kilometers. The following instrumental intensity was recorded: Intensity III – Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro; Calapan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits off Dinagat

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Dinagat on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 31 kilometers southeast of Loreto at 10 a.m. Depth of focus was 18 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.5-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

3.5-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Sunday, Sept. 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit off 25 kilometers northeast of Governor Generoso at 3:05 a.m. Depth of focus was 24 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.6-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, Sept. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 361 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 10:42 a.m. Depth of focus was 15 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.1-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)-A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Saturday, Sept. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 11 kilometers southeast of Tagbina at 7:23 a.m. Depth of focus was 4 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A strong earthquake struck Quezon on Friday, Sept. 13, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. PHIVOLCS initially said the quake was a 5.5-magnitude one, but it later downgraded this to 5.3. (Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Southern Leyte on Friday, Sept. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 7 kilometers southwest of Hinunangan at 6 a.m. Depth of focus was 11 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.4-magnitude quake hits N. Vizcaya

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Nueva Vizcaya on Thursday, Sept. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said  the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 7 kilometers northwest of Ambaguio at 8:01 a.m Depth of focus was 1 kilometer. The following intensities were reported: Intensity IV – Ambaguio, Nueva Vizcaya Intensity III – Atok & Bokod, Benguet; Tinoc, Ifugao Intensity II – Baguio City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Aurora on Thursday, Sept. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 30 kilometers southeast of Casiguran at 5:38 a.m. Depth of focus was 10 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude earthquake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Wednesday, Sept. 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 161 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 6:24 a.m. PHIVOLCS said the depth of focus of the quake was 103 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
