3.1-magnitude quake strikes off Aurora

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Aurora on Thursday, Sept. 12.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 30 kilometers southeast of Casiguran at 5:38 a.m.

Depth of focus was 10 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
