3.0-magnitude quake hits S. Leyte

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Southern Leyte on Friday, Sept. 13.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 7 kilometers southwest of Hinunangan at 6 a.m.

Depth of focus was 11 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
