DFA repatriates 345 Filipinos from Oman

(Eagle News) — Over 300 Filipinos were repatriated from Oman in the Department of Foreign Affairs first chartered flight from the country. In a statement, the DFA said 345 Filipinos had been stranded in Oman due to COVID-19 restrictions. The flight, which arrived on Tuesday, July 27, included 10 minors, the DFA said. DFA reports 147 more COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad

(Eagle News)– Over 100 more overseas Filipinos have tested positive for COVID-19. According to recent Department of Foreign Affairs data, the 147 more COVID-19 cases  pushed the total cases among Filipinos abroad to 21090. Seventy-six more have recovered, pushing the total recoveries to 12430. DFA: Cotabato City consular office operations suspended “until further notice”

(Eagle News) — The Department of Foreign Affairs’ consular office in Cotabato City is temporarily suspending operations. In an advisory, the DFA said the suspension “until further notice” was due to “issues concerning the Cotabato Consular Office building.” The department did not elaborate. DFA: Detected COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad now at 20,933

(Eagle News) — Seven more overseas Filipinos have tested positive for COVID-19. According to July 10 data, the additional cases pushed the COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad to 20,933. DFA repatriates 301 distressed OFWs from Saudi Arabia

(Eagle News) — Over 300 overseas Filipino workers were repatriated from Saudi Arabia on June 25.
