Manila, Philippines — More than 100 Filipino workers in Ukraine were advised to prepare for possible evacuation amid tense military standoff between Ukraine and Russia over control of Crimea. The Philippine government raised crisis alert level 2 over Ukraine, with Russia threatening military assault if Ukrainian troops will not stand down in Crimea, an autonomous region of Ukraine off the northern coast of the Black Sea.
