Tropical depression may enter PAR on Monday, Dec. 23

(Eagle News)–A new tropical depression may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Monday. President Duterte’s approval rating surges to 87 percent in December

The 87 percent registered by the President  was nine points higher than the 78 percent he garnered only three months earlier, in September. (Eagle News)-A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Maguindanao on Saturday, Dec. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 8 kilometers southeast of Buluan at 4:48 a.m. Depth of focus was 26 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
