DFA repatriates around 30 victims of trafficking from Lebanon

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs has said it has repatriated around 30 Filipinos who were victims of trafficking to Lebanon. In a statement, the DFA said the around 30 Filipinos arrived via Etihad Airways flight EY 0424 on Dec. 22, and were accompanied by five minors. DILG: At least 9 dead due to “Ursula”

(Eagle News) — At least nine people died after “Ursula” pummeled the country in recent days, the Department of the Interior and Local Government said. Duterte approves extension of validity of 2019 national budget

In signing Republic Act No. 11464, the President formally extended the P3.7-trillion 2019 national budget to Dec. 31, 2020. 3.7-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)-A 3.7-magnitude quake hit Davao Occidental on Thursday, Dec. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 74 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 4:45 a.m. Depth of focus was 70 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)-A 3.2-magnitude earthquake hit Sultan Kudarat on Wednesday, Dec. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 13 kilometers southeast of Columbio at 6:56 p.m. Depth of focus was 17 kilometers.
