DFA: 42,583 overseas Filipinos repatriated in August

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs repatriated over 42,000 overseas Filipinos in August amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The DFA said of the 42,583 repatriated, 76.1 percent flew in from the Middle East. DFA reports three additional COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs has reported three additional COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos. COVID-19 cases in PHL reach 234,570 with additional 2,529 cases

(Eagle News) — COVID-19 cases in the country breached the 234,000 mark on Saturday, Sept. 5, after the Department of Health reported an additional 2529 cases. The DOH said of the 234,570 total cases, 69,112 were active. Of these, 90.4 percent were mild, 7.2 percent asymptomatic, 1.0 percent severe, and 1.4 percent critical. (Eagle News)–There have been no reports of COVID-19 deaths among overseas Filipinos recently, the Department of Foreign Affairs said on Friday night. According to the DFA, as of September 4, the death toll therefore remains at 757. DFA: Search and rescue ops for survivors of vessel that sank off Japan temporarily suspended

(Eagle News)–The Japanese Coast Guard has temporarily suspended its search and rescue operations for the missing crew of the Panamanian-flagged vessel that sank off Japan. Customs bureau collects P44.631 billion in total revenues in August

(Eagle News)–The Bureau of Customs  surpassed its August 2020 target collection by P10.956 billion. MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Saturday, Sept. 5

(Eagle News)-The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Saturday, Sept. 5: MIAA said flight schedules may be subject to changes. All passengers were advised to get confirmation of their flights on the same day they are supposed to be scheduled. Domestic flight operations are allowed with Metro Manila under a general community quarantine. The Bureau of Immigration has said the  restrictions on international travel remain.
