80 more police personnel recover from COVID-19

(Eagle News)–The Philippine National Police has reported  80 additional COVID-19 recoveries within its ranks. With the development, the PNP said the number of total recoveries rose to 4125 as of Monday night. One recovery, the PNP said, has been readmitted. 7 volcanic quakes, steam and sulfur dioxide emissions monitored at Kanlaon; alert level 1 stays

(Eagle News)–Seven volcanic earthquakes have been recorded at Kanlaon in 24 hours. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said steam and sulfur dioxide emissions were also monitored at the volcano, which remains on alert level 1. DFA reports additional COVID-19 death among overseas Filipinos

The DFA said with the additional fatality from the Middle East, the COVID-19 death toll rose to 778 as of Monday night. COVID-19 cases in PHL reach 290,190 with 3,475 newly-announced cases

(Eagle News)–COVID-19 cases in the country breached the 290,000 mark on Monday, Sept. 21, after the Department of Health reported 3475 additional cases. According to the DOH, of the 290,190 total cases, 54958 were active. Of these, 86.6 percent were mild, 8.9 percent asymptomatic, 1.4 percent severe, and 3.1 percent critical.
