SC extends 2022 Bar exams application deadline

(Eagle News) — The Philippines logged over 2000 more COVID-19 cases on Sunday, July 10. According to Department of Health data, the additional 2018 cases pushed the COVID-19 tally to 3718467. Justice Secretary Remulla tests positive for COVID-19

(Eagle News)–Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla has tested positive for COVID-19. According to Remulla, he tested positive for the virus on Thursday. He said he was so far experiencing “very mild” symptoms. Remulla’s revelation came days after President Bongbong Marcos said he tested positive for COVID-19. The Palace said on Sunday said Marcos’ health has “improved.”

PNP: 19-year-old nabbed in Lanao del Sur buy-bust

(Eagle News) — Authorities arrested a 19-year-old man in a buy-bust operation in Lanao del Sur, the Philippine National Police said. PNP: P340,000 worth of shabu seized in Zamboanga City buy-bust; 1 nabbed

(Eagle News) — Authorities seized P340,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Zamboanga City, the Philippine National Police said. According to the PNP,  also arrested during the operation in Barangay Baliwasan on July 6 was  Anersa Aiyadi Hassan. The PNP did not provide additional details about the operation. PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao said, however, that the suspect is now in Zambonga police custody. Criminal charges are set to be filed against her.

DOH: 140 more BA.5 Omicron subvariant cases detected in PHL

(Eagle News) — Over 100 more BA.5 Omicron subvariant cases have been detected in the Philippines. According to Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, apart from the additional 140 BA.5 Omicron subvariant cases, detected in the country were  seven additional  BA.4 cases, and 20 more BA.2.12.1 cases.
