Death toll from torrential Brazil storms rises to 37: officials

(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of Mindanao. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Davao Oriental and Agusan del Sur within one to two hours. Surigao del Sur under yellow warning level

(Eagle News)–A yellow warning level has been hoisted over Surigao del Sur. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said this means  flooding in flood-prone areas is possible. Meanwhile, heavy rains are affecting New Bataan, Maragusan, Pantukan, Mabini in Davao de Oro. PAGASA said these may persist for two to three hours.
