(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Monday, Aug. 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:49 a.m. The quake’s epicenter was 327 kilometers southeast of Sarangani Island. The depth of focus was 72 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Thursday, July 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:50 a.m. The epicenter was 348 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 148 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 8:48 p.m. The epicenter was five kilometers southwest of Rapu-Rapu. PHIVOLCS said the depth of focus was five kilometers.
