DFA: No new COVID-19 recoveries from overseas Filipinos recorded today

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs on Monday, June 8, said there were no new recoveries recorded today among overseas Filipinos who contracted the COVID-19 virus. The DFA said those who recovered remain at 2231. The number of confirmed cases among overseas Filipinos has reached 5405, with 13 new cases. The death toll, the DFA said, stands at 371 with one new death reported in the Americas.

PHL, ADB sign $400-million loan agreement to help boost country’s domestic capital markets

COVID-19 cases in PHL breach 14000 mark; recoveries climb to 3249

(Eagle News)–The number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases in the country has reached 14035 after the Department of Health reported 258  additional cases. Of the new cases, the DOH said  75  percent or 195 cases came from Metro Manila; 20  percent or 51  cases from  other areas; and 5 percent or 12 cases from repatriates. DOTr, attached agencies turn over P80 billion in dividends, remittances from revenues to national treasury
