Quake strikes near Iran nuclear power plant

TEHRAN, Iran (AFP) — An earthquake struck Iran on Friday less than 50 kilometers (30 miles) from the country’s only nuclear power plant, monitors said. There were no immediate reports of any damage. Panelo, Lorenzana slam Sison for refusal to have one-on-one talk with President Duterte in PHL

(Eagle News)–Authorities on Friday, Dec. 28, slammed Communist Party of the Philippines founder Jose Maria Sison for refusing to have a one-on-one talk with President Rodrigo Duterte in the Philippines. NDRRMC: At least 28 people dead due to “Ursula”

(Eagle News)–At least 28 people died due to “Ursula,’” the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council said. According to the NDRRMC, the fatalities were from Regions VI (Western Visayas), VII (Central Visayas), and VIII (Eastern Visayas), with Iloilo with  the most number of fatalities at 13. DFA repatriates around 30 victims of trafficking from Lebanon
