DFA reports one more COVID-19 case among overseas Filipinos

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs has reported an additional COVID-19 case among overseas Filipinos. (Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs  suspended the operations of three more consular offices on Monday, Oct. 26, due to the inclement weather brought by Typhoon “Quinta.” The DFA said closed were its offices in San Pablo, Laguna; Lipa, Batangas; and Legazpi, Albay. 5 volcanic quakes, steam emission monitored at Kanlaon; alert level 1 in place

(Eagle News)–Five volcanic earthquakes were monitored at Kanlaon in 24 hours. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said steam emission was also monitored at the volcano, which remains on alert level 1. (Eagle News)–Thirty more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19. The Philippine National Police said PNP COVID-19 recoveries therefore rose to 6411. Thirty-two additional cases pushed the total to 7029. Of these 596 were active. No additional death was reported, which means the death toll remains at 22. DFA repatriates over 7,000 overseas Filipinos this week

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs  repatriated over 7000 overseas Filipinos this week. The DFA said with the additional 7,732 repatriates, the number of Filipinos brought home since February rose to 231,026. Of these, 76,069 or 32.93 percent were sea-based, while 154957 or 67.07 percent were land-based.
