PHL COVID-19 cases at 500,577; 5,868 more recover

(Eagle News)–COVID-19 cases in the country breached the 500,000 mark on Sunday, January 17, after the Department of Health reported 1895 additional cases. The DOH said of the total 500,577 cases, 24691 were active. Of these, 84.6 percent were mild, 6.6 percent were asymptomatic, 5.3 percent were critical, 3 percent severe, and 0.47 percent were moderate. DFA reports 10 more COVID-19 recoveries among overseas Filipinos

(Eagle News) — Ten more Filipinos abroad have recovered from COVID-19. The Department of Foreign Affairs said with the additional recoveries, the COVID-19 recovery total among overseas Filipinos rose to 8627. Three additional COVID-19 cases pushed the total to 13543. 18 more police personnel recover from COVID-19

(Eagle News) — Eighteen more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19. The Philippine National Police said with the additional recoveries, the PNP COVID-19 total rose to 9062. 7 dead in Air Force chopper crash in Bukidnon

(Eagle News)–Seven people died after a Philippine Air Force chopper crashed in Bukidnon on Saturday, January 17. PNP: 25,357 cops promoted nationwide
