(Eagle News)-A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of Northern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said light to moderate rains are being experienced over Fuga Island, Apayao, particularly in Conner and Kabugao;  Cagayan, specifically in Lasam, Rizal, Santa Ana and Santo Niño. 4.0-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)-A 4.0-magnitude quake struck Batangas on Monday, Jan. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 9:07 a.m. , had its epicenter 3 kilometers southwest of Laurel. It had a depth of focus of 7 kilometers. An instrumental intensity I was recorded in Tagaytay City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)-A 3.9-magnitude quake struck Batangas on Monday, Jan. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 5:59 a.m., had its epicenter 6 kilometers northwest of Agoncillo. It had a depth of focus of 6 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.1-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)-A 4.1-magnitude quake hit Batangas on Sunday, Jan. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 11:56 p.m., had its epicenter 7 kilometers northeast of Agoncillo. Depth of focus was 8 kilometers. The following intensity and instrumental intensities were recorded: Intensity: Intensity V – Tagaytay City Instrumental Intensity: Intensity IV -Tagaytay City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)-These pictures of Taal Volcano were taken by Eagle News correspondents from different areas. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has raised an alert level 3 over the volcano, which generated a 1-kilometer-high plume and a volcanic tremor. Earthquakes were felt in the volcano island and Agoncillo in Batangas. PHIVOLCS has recommended an evacuation from the volcano island and Agoncillo and Laurel in Batangas.

(Eagle News)-A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Antique early Sunday, Jan. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake took place at 2:51 a.m. The epicenter was 18 kilometers northwest of Patnongon, with depth of focus at 4 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake at 11:29 a.m.had its epicenter 18 kilometers northwest of Malungon. Depth of focus was 29 kilometers. An instrumental intensity I was felt in  Malungon. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
