3.6-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which took place at 8:34 a.m., had its epicenter 6 kilometers northwest of Laurel.

It had a depth of focus of one kilometer.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
