4.2-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro on Friday, Jan. 17.

The Philippine Institute Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 11:36 p.m., had its epicenter 41 kilometers southwest of Paluan.

It had a depth of focus of 22 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
