(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Leyte today. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 7:34 a.m., had its epicenter 10 kilometers southeast. It had a depth of one kilometer. The following intensities were recorded: Instrumental Intensities: Intensity III – Ormoc City Intensity II – Naval, Biliran Intensity I – Borongan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 12:42 p.m., had its epicenter 74 kilometers southeast of Tarragona. It had a depth of 23 kilometers.
