DFA reports 13 more COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos

PHL updates list of MECQ areas to include Zamboanga City; Palace to decide new protocols next week

(Eagle News) — The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has placed Zamboanga City under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) until May 14, 2021. (Eagle News)–Philippine COVID-19 cases reached 1094849 on Saturday, May 8, after the Department of Health reported 6979 additional cases. Of the total cases, 63376 were active, according to DOH data. IATF approves COVID-19 testing of incoming travelers on 7th day of quarantine
