5 other patients recover, one dies (Eagle News)–The Department of Health on Saturday, March 21, announced 32 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 in the country, bringing the total to 262. According to the DOH, five other patients have recovered. With the development, 13 patients have so far recovered. Another patient has died, bringing the total to 19.

In an advisory, UP Diliman said Dr. Aileen S.P. Baviera, one of the country’s foremost sinologists, died in the San Lazaro hospital at 3:55 a.m. today. No other details were available.
