Military: Number of injured in Jolo explosions rises to 78

DepEd: Total number of enrollees for SY 2020-2021 reaches over 23 million so far

(Eagle News)–The total number of enrollees for school year 2020 to 2021 has reached over 23 million so far, the Department of Education has said. According to DepEd, the 23,643,113 enrollees for Kindergarten to Grade 12, including ALS and non-graded learners with disabilities  as of Monday, Aug. 24, constitute 85.07 percent of enrollees for school year 2019 to 2020. 4.1-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 4:43 a.m, had its epicenter 442 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. COVID-19 cases in PHL reach 194,252 with additional 4,686 cases

(Eagle News) — The number of COVID-19 cases in the country topped 194,000 on Monday, Aug. 24, after the Department of Health reported 4,686 additional cases. The DOH said of the 194,252 cases, 59,200 were active, of which 91.5 percent were mild, 6.1 percent asymptomatic, 1.0 percent severe, and 1.4 percent critical.
