(Eagle News)–The southwest monsoon is affecting the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms as a result. The rest of the country, PAGASA said, will experience the same conditions. PAGASA said the entire country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

(Eagle News)–“Egay,” now a tropical storm, has slightly intensified as it moves westward over the Philippine Sea. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the center of the tropical storm was so far estimated 685 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes.
