MRT-3 reminds public each train car can carry only 51 passengers

(Eagle News)–The Metro Rail Transit-3 reminded commuters on Wednesday, June 10, that passengers on trains are limited amid the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the MRT-3, each train set can only carry 153 passengers, with each train car carrying 51 people. Free MRT-3 rides during selected hours on Monday, Dec. 30

(Eagle News)-The Metro Rail Transit-3 is giving free train rides on selected hours on Monday, Dec. 30. The MRT-3 said the free rides could be availed of from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The free rides are in celebration of Rizal Day, which aims to commemorate the heroism of the country’s national hero Jose Rizal.

MRT-3: Short circuit in traction motor caused train to emit smoke on Monday, Nov. 4

(Eagle News) — A short circuit in one of the traction motors caused a Metro Rail Transit-3 train to emit smoke at the Santolan station on Monday, Nov. 4.
