(Eagle News)–The Metro Rail Transit 3 resumed full operations on Friday, Sept. 6.
The MRT-3 management said as of 5 p.m., trains from North Ave. to Taft Ave. and vice versa were already operational.
It said this was after the Overhead Catenary System Team “successfully reconnected and restored the catenary cable that was cut earlier today at Guadalupe Station” at 4:35 p.m.
The discovery of the cut cable prompted the suspension of MRT-3 operations at 6:42 a.m.
Later in the day, the MRT-3 announced trains from North Ave. to Shaw Boulevard and vice versa were already operational.
The MRT-3 has said it would probe the cause of the cut catenary cable.
