DFA: Over 200,000 Filipinos repatriated since start of COVID-19 pandemic so far

(Eagle News)–Over 200,000 overseas Filipinos have been repatriated since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic until September, the Department of Foreign Affairs said. According to the DFA,  of the 204,481, 33.98 percent or 69477 were sea-based, while 66.02 percent or 135,004 were land-based. Of the total OFWs repatriated, 41892 were repatriated in September. DFA: No new COVID-19 deaths reported among overseas Filipinos

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs has reported no new COVID-19 deaths among overseas Filipinos. The DFA said the COVID-19 death toll of Filipinos abroad therefore remains at 792. Twenty-seven new COVID-19 cases, however, have been reported from countries in Asia and the Pacific and Europe. The additional cases pushed the COVID-19 tally to 10534. Six more COVID-19 cases reported among overseas Filipinos

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs has reported six additional COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos. The DFA said with the additional cases as of Friday, the COVID-19 tally for Filipinos abroad rose to 10430. (Eagle News)–Over 193,000 Overseas Filipino Workers have been transported to their respective provinces under the government’s Hatid-Tulong program.
