DFA says over 400 OFWs repatriated recently now in PHL

(Eagle News) — Over 400 repatriated overseas Filipino workers have arrived in the Philippines, the Department of Foreign Affairs said on Monday, March 28. DFA repatriates 139 Filipinos from Myanmar

(Eagle News) — The Department of Foreign Affairs has repatriated over 100 Filipinos from Myanmar. The DFA said the 139 Filipinos arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Monday, via a chartered AirAsia special flight. Among those repatriated were 11 dependent children and four dependent parents, including two senior citizens, of the repatriated Filipinos who worked as professionals in Myanmar  but whose contracts were affected by the COVID-19 restrictions in the country. (Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs has recently repatriated over 90 Filipinos from Laos and Myanmar. The DFA said the 46 Filipinos arrived in Manila from Vientiane, Laos on  November 16, via Myanmar National Airlines. They were accompanied by  three foreign nationals. (Eagle News)–Fourteen more overseas Filipinos have tested positive for COVID-19. The Department of Foreign Affairs said with the additional cases, the total confirmed COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad rose to 11,542. Four additional recoveries pushed the recovery tally to 7467. One additional death was reported, bringing the death toll to 832. DFA: Over 135,000 Filipinos repatriated amid COVID-19 pandemic

(Eagle News)-The Department of Foreign Affairs has said it has repatriated over 135,000 overseas Filipinos amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The DFA said the total 135,290 was after an additional 10,573 overseas Filipinos were brought home this week. Of the total, 38.9 percent (52,639 overseas Filipinos) were sea-based while 61.1 percent (82,651 overseas Filipinos) were land-based.
