Navotas records first COVID-19 case, also city’s first COVID-19 fatality

(Eagle News)–Navotas has confirmed its first coronavirus disease 2019 case, also its first death from the disease. Over 100, or 125, are patients under monitoring, while 21 are patients under investigation. According to the city government, four patients under probe also died, of which one turned out negative for the virus and three were awaiting results. The Philippines has so far breached the 1000 mark in COVID-19 cases.

Total confirmed COVID-19 cases reach 1075 as DOH announces 272 new cases; deaths rise to 68

  (Eagle News) — The Department of Health announced 272 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing national total to 1075. “This is the highest single day increase since the start of the outbreak,” the DOH statement said. Las Piñas confirms 17 COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News)–Las Piñas has confirmed 17 coronavirus disease 2019 cases. The city government said of the 17, four were from BF International Village-CAA, two from Manuyo Dos, one each from Talon Uno and Pamplona Tres, two each from Pulang Lupa Dos, Talon Dos and Talon Kuwatro, and three from Zapote. Two have recovered. Twenty three are patients under probe and 389 are under monitoring.

Laguna confirms 17 COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News)–Laguna province has recorded 17 coronavirus disease 2019 cases so far. Gov. Ramil Hernandez said of the 17, seven were from Santa Rosa, three from Biñan, two from Calamba and San Pedro, and one each from Cabuyao, Los Baños and Lumban. Hernandez said 687 persons are under investigation, while 8859 are under monitoring. Over 1000 persons under monitoring have been cleared, he said.
