(Eagle News) — Online classes are suspended in Catanduanes on Monday, April 19, with the province still under Signal No. 2 due to Typhoon “Bising.” Memorandum 082 s. 2021 signed by Governor Joseph Cua said work is also suspended. 5.0-magnitude quake strikes off Catanduanes

(Eagle News)–A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Catanduanes early Saturday, Sept. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit off 51 kilometers northeast of Panganiban at 2:04 a.m. Depth of focus was 31 kilometers. An instrumental intensity II was recorded in Legazpi. There was no damage to property but aftershocks were recorded.
