(Eagle News)–A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Catanduanes early Saturday, Sept. 21.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit off 51 kilometers northeast of Panganiban at 2:04 a.m.
Depth of focus was 31 kilometers.
An instrumental intensity II was recorded in Legazpi.
There was no damage to property but aftershocks were recorded.
