NGCP: At least 59 transmission structures damaged by “Ursula”

(Eagle News)-At least 59 transmission structures were damaged by “Ursula,” the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said. According to the NGCP, apart from the 59, 14 towers were also damaged. As of Friday evening, the NGCP said the Nabas-Culasi 69kV Line has alreasy been restored. 3.2-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)-A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Saturday, Dec. 28. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the quake, which struck at 5:24 a.m., had its epicenter 32 kilometers northwest of Burgos. It had a depth of focus of 12 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
