3.8-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur early Sunday
(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Sunday, Sept. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 4:34 a.m., had its epicenter 92 kilometers northeast of Bayabas. It had a depth of four kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
