PNP reports 55 new COVID-19 recoveries

(Eagle News)–The Philippine National Police has reported 55 additional COVID-19 recoveries among police personnel. The PNP said with the additional ones, the recovery tally rose to 4610 as of Monday night. Sixty-one new COVID-19 cases brought  the total to 5812. The PNP said of these, 1185 were active. MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Tuesday, Sept. 29

(Eagle News)–The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Tuesday, Sept. 29: Flight schedules may be subject to changes. Domestic flights are allowed with Metro Manila under a general community quarantine but subject to the restrictions of the local government unit that has jurisdiction over the area of destination. Metro Manila is expected to remain a GCQ area until the end of October. Restrictions on international flights remain.

DOH reports 3,073 more COVID-19 cases; PHL tally at 307,288

(Eagle News) — COVID-19 cases in the country breached the 307,000 mark after the Department of Health reported additional 3073 cases today. The DOH said of the 307,288, 49,242 were active. Of these, 86.4 percent were mild, 8.7 percent asymptomatic, 1.5 percent severe, and 3.4 percent critical. 16 Filipino seafarers stranded in China amid COVID-19 pandemic to arrive in PHL tomorrow

Three land-based OFWs to return home, too (Eagle News)–Nineteen Filipinos from China will be arriving in the Philippines tomorrow. The Department of Foreign Affairs said  of the 19, 16 were seafarers who have been stranded amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Eleven of these were  from Ocean Star 86 who have been stranded in Dongshan since March.
