32 more police personnel recover from COVID-19

(Eagle News)–Thirty-two more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19. The Philippine National Police said with the additional recoveries, the recovery tally rose to 4970 as of Saturday night. 4.5-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Sunday, Oct. 4. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:19 a.m., had its epicenter 45 kilometers northeast of Bayabas. It had a depth of 19 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

PAGASA monitoring LPA off Catanduanes

(Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area off Catanduanes. COVID-19 cases in PHL reach 319,330 with addition of 2,674 cases

(Eagle News)–COVID-19 cases in the country reached 319,330 on Saturday, Oct. 3, after the Department of Health reported 2674 new cases. Of the 319,330 cases, 58606 were active. Over 231,000 OFWs return to respective provinces under gov’t’s Hatid-Tulong program

(Eagle News)–Over 231,000 Overseas Filipino Workers have been transported to their respective provinces under the government’s Hatid-Tulong program. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said steam and sulfur dioxide emissions were also monitored at the volcano, which remains on alert level 1.
