Sorsogon governor Chiz Escudero, however, noted that there were no casualties reported in the province after the typhoon’s onslaught. But the initial damage reported already reached P667,331,900 due to agriculture and fisheries losses. The cost of damage to infrastructure is still being completed.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said severe flooding is expected in flood-prone areas and near river channels.
