Sorsogon placed under state of calamity

(Eagle News) — Sorsogon has been placed under a state of calamity because of the damage to agriculture and infrastructure brought about by typhoon Kammuri (TisoyPH).

Sorsogon governor Chiz Escudero, however, noted that there were no casualties reported in the province after the typhoon’s onslaught.

But the initial damage reported already reached P667,331,900 due to agriculture and fisheries losses.

The cost of damage to infrastructure is still being completed.
